Q. How does my school get access to FF4Kids?

A. The courseware is being delivered to Kansas elementary and middle schools free-of-charge through their Empowered Desktop by Kan-ed/LearningStation. Your Empowered Desktop can be reached at kportal.learningstation.com. Find the pink pig under the"Personal Finance/Economics" section. Not there? Read the next section.

FF4Kids should be available automatically to all Kansas schools via Kan-ed/Learning Station. To have it "turned on" for your students someone from your district will need to contact Kan-ed/LearningStation to let them know you want it available to all students. We cannot authorize this for you.

Q. Our school has Kan-Ed/LearningStation but there is no icon (pink pig) on our school's Empowered Desktop that accesses FF4Kids.

A. All schools in Kansas should have access. Please contact us and let us know that it is not showing up on your Empowered Desktop. We will work with Kan-Ed to make this program available online as quickly as possible.

Q. What are the technical requirements for me to run the courseware?

A. You can download a technology requirements page to give to your school computer administrator. If you are still unable to get it to function, please contact 316-978-5183 to report your situation.

Q. Can I reproduce pages from the Teachers Guide?

A. Yes, please do.

Q. How do I report a mistake I found on the courseware or make a suggestion for improvement?

A. Email KCEE@wichita.edu or call 316-978-5183 to report an error or make a suggestion.
